You're burning out!
Let's please talk soon.

Act now. This assessment indicates full-blown burnout.

Burnout is serious, and it's contagious.

If you've completed this questionnaire through observations of a colleague, they need your urgent support to manage the workplace and personal factors that have brought them to this point. They can't do this on their own.

And if you've completed this questionnaire for yourself, it's time to listen to what your mind, body and heart have been telling you, probably for some time. You're in trouble. It's not your fault, but it is your life, and your responsibility to find yourself the support you need. You can't do this on your own either.

We're here to help you and to guide you through the strategies you'll need to recover, and to reclaim your life, your health, your career and your security.

If you haven't already, please urgently book a call with us so we can work through the first steps you need to take.

We've analysed your responses against the following key areas.

These give a useful indication of areas that might need attention to prevent burnout. The lower the score, the less concern we have about burnout in this area.

Cognition

%

Cognition refers to both conscious and unconscious mental processes essential for daily functioning, enabling us to interpret our environments, plan and execute actions and interact with others.  These processes include perception, attention, memory, learning, reasoning, problem solving, decision making and higher-level processes captured under the term 'executive function'. Burnout can significantly impact some or all of these cognitive processes.

Performance

%

Work performance and burnout have a complex, bidirectional (often cyclical) relationship where each influences the other in significant ways. High performance expectations and workload can induce burnout, which can lead to poor performance, which in turn can result in increased pressure to improve, further intensifying burnout. This creates a vicious cycle that can be hard to break.

Empathy

%

Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another person. It involves recognising emotions in others, imagining what they might be experiencing, and responding with care and concern. In burnout, emotional exhaustion, compassion fatigue and overcommitment are empathy flags that can both contribute to and result from burnout.

Emotions

%

Emotions play a significant role in both the development and experience of burnout. Burnout is often the result of chronic emotional stress, particularly in work environments, and it manifests in three primary dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization (or cynicism), and reduced personal accomplishment (impacting confidence, pride, satisfaction and motivation).

Values

%

Our values make up what is important to us in life. They dictate our actions and motivate what we do. They are how we decide how we feel about our actions, and are the result of our model of the world. Some values related to our work, including the values of service,  commitment, achievement and success, can play an important role in contributing to burnout.

Energy

%

Our energy has multiple dimensions, including physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social. Each of these energies contributes to how we 'show up' in our work and our lives, and each can be impacted differently by and contribute differently to burnout.

Social

%

Social factors can play a significant role in both the development and experience of burnout, particularly in the workplace. While your interactions with your colleagues can be impacted by burnout, you might also see the effects of burnout on your personal relationships.
